Branson Missouri offers tons of extremely affordable things to do for both families and couples. Below are some of the things we recommend after our recent trip to Branson. BookVIP also has some unbeatable rates through their partner hotels so make sure to check them out as well.
Things to do:
Stone Hill Winery
Established in 1847, Stone Hill Winery is the oldest winery in the State of Missouri. Stone Hill Winery offers free tours to the general public, has 6 tasting rooms, a shop, events year around, offers spectacular dining, all while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Table Rock Lake and Dam
Table rock lake is offers beautiful crystal clear waters with tons of outdoor activities including hiking trails, fishing, picnic sites, and water sports. The impressive Table Rock Dam also offers tours.
This was our second stop on our visit. The Branson Landing offers shopping, dining, and awesome entertainment venues. The showstopper for us was the 120 foot fountain show which included fire cannons with special effects and music. It started at noon every day and then ran every hour on the hour.
There are 4 water parks in Branson that we know of but we chose to go to the Silver Dollar City Water Park. It has hug slides and is a blast for all ages. All day tickets for kids are only $20.
We went on The Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City while we were there but there’s also a handful of amusement parks in Branson. The one thing everyone kept buzzing about was the Mountain Coaster. It’s $10 a ride ($15 for the driver) and we met a family that that wouldn’t stop raving about it.
The Titanic Museum Tour offers:
- Receive a Boarding Pass of an actual Titanic passenger/crew member
- View $4.5 million + of Titanic artifacts
- Walk the $1 Million exact replica of Titanic’s Grand Staircase
- Touch an iceberg and feel 28-degree water
- Shovel “coal” in Titanic’s Boiler Room
- Learn how to send an SOS distress signal
- Experience the Sloping Decks of the ship’s stern as she descended
- Sit in an actual size lifeboat and hear true passenger stories
- Discover your passenger’s fate in the Titanic Memorial Room
There are so many other things to do in Branson as well, these are just a few of our top recommendations for seeing great attractions on a budget.
