Making the Most of Your Visit to Universal Orlando Resort
You’ve spent all year and maybe more on planning your Florida vacation and now you have to decide which parks you and your family want to visit and for how many days. This may seem easy but in reality, an itinerary is the most difficult thing to plan on a vacation. Sure you can just wing it but this can prove to be the most expensive way to vacation. Now that most theme parks are over the one hundred dollar mark, planning can be the difference between a character dining experience and eating off property at a local burger chain.
If you are just coming to spend a few days at the parks and just want to hit Disney and Universal Studios for the day, then purchasing day passes is probably the best bet for you. But if you are planning on visiting for more than four or five days, we can help you get the most bangs for your buck! There are plenty of variations of discount tickets these days and we will list a few that we feel are the best options. Today we will focus on Universal Orlando and what’s happening there as well as their discount ticket options.
If you have not been to Orlando in awhile, a lot has changed! The latest greatest updates have to be at Islands of Adventure, Universal Studio’s sister park with their Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This has turned out to be the talk of the town amongst travelers from around the world as well as locals. In addition to this Universal has added the latest expansion Diagon Ally located inside Universal Studios. Both have been pulling in a giant portion of the tourism business and Disney is watching.
The best Universal Studios tickets to see these two parks with are either the Base Tickets or the most popular ticket, the Park to Park ticket. The base ticket only allows you to visit one park per day but the Park to Park ticket allows you to visit both parks in the same day while being able to ride the all NEW Hogwart’s Express Train that travels between parks. Both tickets are great, but having the ability to travel between parks in my opinion is the way to go. Nothing like being able to leave if one park is getting a little to busy!
Depending on how many days you wish to visit at Universal Orlando Resort, there is a verity of tickets for you to choose from. The two day tickets are in my opinion the best tickets for families who are here for only a week where as a four day or more ticket for families staying longer. Having the extra days for the longer visitors are great for exploring the theme parks at your leisure while pacing yourselves during your extended stay and the cost for the bigger ticket is almost nothing. The motto is the more you play the less you pay.
